Building a hub of creativity and innovation
Ultrafabrics are intelligent materials developed to interact with and respond to the human senses. Serving a broad spectrum of creatives across an array of industries, from car and airline interiors to high-end furniture and fashion, Ultrafabrics wanted to build a creative hub, which would showcase the versatile material, as well as serve as a physical manifestation of the Ultrafabrics brand world.
Busk was appointed full oversight and management of the process, from showroom concept development to interviewing leading interior design firms to overseeing the actual construction of space and custom furnitures by Japanese craftsmen.
Working in close collaboration with Copenhagen-based design studio, OeO, the UF Global Showroom was conceived and constructed on time and budget over the course of 9 months, opening its doors to the public during London’s Clerkenwell Design Week 2018, receiving much praise from the design community and press alike.
